Why Foundational Tutoring?

The desire to create Foundational Tutoring came about from seeing the negative effects and deficits in learning after the Covid pandemic. The pandemic shifted ways of life drastically, with schooling being affected in a big way. Significant gaps in learning have been found in students as a result. In creating Foundational Tutoring, I want to help children get back to having that strong foundation in their education. Tutoring has been found to bring many benefits in a way that the classroom learning environment can't. The tutoring at Foundational Tutoring is tailored to the child, to ensure that we are moving at the right pace and level so that the child can get the most benefit. I assess where each child is currently at and work with them to help them understand and grasp the concepts needed in the way that they learn best.
